You can bring trash bags, gloves, and scissors to be prepared just in case :D

Why: There will be separate training sessions held for presidents and vice presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and bulletin editors and publicity directors. All other officers that are not in these groups are still very encouraged to come for general information and the July DCM.
Another officer meeting will be held for RANCHO KEY CLUB OFFICERS on the 31st at Barnes and Nobles around 6

James's version
WOO! Convention was freakin awesome!
Friday: I got to school at around 6:30 am and we left around 7:30. I was in Ms. Nelson's truck wit Derrick and Richard. Listen to music and ish. Our first stop was Carls and then we stopped for gas and ish. After like 6 hours, we finally made it to Sacramento. On the surface streets, going to our hotel, we all see a billboard advertising a men for men dating phone service. No wonder Shaq calls the Kings the Queens. Freakin took hella long for us to get our rooms and the room for the guy wasn't even ready! Freakin bull shiet. Anywayz, so me and Derrick chilled while Richard and the girls walked around. Dinner at the Convention center then the first general session, some people thought it was boring, and yeah it was but like it was cool to see deserving people get recognition for their accomplishments. After the first general session, we then went to the first caucus session and this the freakin BORING! OMG this was so boring. What happens is that the candidates running for office give their speeches and then the people in the audience get to ask questions. There was only one dynamic speaker and he was at the beginning. Everyone else was BORING! Then to add to my crabby mood, there was one n00b who would ask the freaking dumbest questions, I seriously was gonna punch him. Finally the shiet was over and we got our rooms. I fell asleep around 3:30 knowing i had to wake up at 6:00.....
Saturday: After 2 1/2 hours of sleep, we all go to Denny's for breakfast. Our waiter was homosexual...After, we head to the convention center for the second general session, same as last. Then we go to the workshops that were held, me and derrick go to the "The KEY to success" this one is to help presidents and vice presidents. Everyone else went to other workshops. For the second workshop, me and Derrick tried to get into "Will You Go Out With Me?" but it was full. So we just sat in the halls of the convention center and chilled. We then went to the hotel, there, the girls wanted to go to the capital. I didn't want to so i stayed and derrick needed to poop. So we just chilled and watched TV and at 4 went to vote for the new officers. OMG, this was even more boring than the caucuses because this had no applauding, each candidate was to answer three questions given by our current governor. BOOOOOORING! Well, like i mentioned, there were no candidates that stood out so like I just zoned out. After that, we ate dinner, went to again ANOTHER general session, and then finally the governor's ball came. For some reason we couldn't get into the memorial building (where the dance was held) until 9:45 so for like an hour about 3000 key clubbers were outside the building cheering and chanting their division chants. Freakin nutz! Finally got in, and the dance begun. I didn't really dance at the beginning cause like for some odd reason i wasn't in the mood and like it was tite watching the guys in the circle do their thing. I finally got into the mood and danced! Fun, fun, fun! We met up with Ontario High School and i danced wit one of the girls from there. I also danced with Nancy and Jackie, fun fun fun! On one of the slow songs, Ontario and we made a huge circle by linking our arms together. We all then jammed into the crowd! Nance was between me and some other tall azn from OHS and like she lost her footing and like me and the other guy started to carry her! Crazy, crazy! Sadly the fun had to end, and at the hotel room i was planning to have an all nighter again, but i was just too tired. Slept at like 1.
Sunday: Woke up at 7, went to breakfast. Then again another session. There was a slide show that they had of different divisions and they had TWO of our pictures! (Good job Richard for the pics and for Joan for putting them there!) Mr. L said it was the first year in school history that we had a picture there! WOO! I rode home in the van with Nancy, Young, Melissa, and Mr. L. Good stuff. At the first rest stop, Derrick joined us and we all talked and figured out the great idea of our new mascot: Samurai Turkeys! Trust us on this, this mascot is seriously off the hook. Now I'm home.
Lost my voice cause off all the yelling, but it was still off the hezzie fo shezzie! WOO! The fun and informative parts definitally out weigh the boring. Me and Derrick have great plans for KEY CLUB next year! Next year's convention, LONG BEACH! Can't wait!

Friday: Woke up at 5 to finish packing.. ahhah I forgot soo much stuff, but it was all good. Young, Melissa, Jackie, and I went into one van and the guys went with Mrs. Nelson. It was ok..lots of sleeping.. DENG JACKIE!! she had chili cheese fries and a cheescake for breakfast!!!  hahahahah, bobble heads...
Got to Sacramento around 2 or 3...HAHAH BOBA???? LOL hehe, then we checked into the hotels..walked around before we had to head to the convention center.
Ate dinner!! burritoes and tacos? yummy... deng, everyone piged out!! Heaps of guacamole, salda, whatever else they had there.. hahha.
Met up with D15 for the caucus!! WEEEeEEEeeeEeee hahahhh lots of runnign around with NEEMO!! hahahah. but yah, kinda boring.. Lots of awards that we didn't enter in...  Yah, then I just said I had a headache just to get outta there. hahah. Then the elections came up.. soo not interesting. Everyone liked JON!!! hahaha JACKIE??? LOL
After that we all headed to our hotels to sleep.
Saturday: Ate out at denny's.. HAHAH BOBA MAN??? LOL heheh, soooo 2 bucks for orange juice anyone??? ahh what a rip. Passed by old town Sacramento though. Really nice...
Headed back to the hotel and went to the workshops. So boring .. HAHAH ice breaker!! *play rock paper scissors, and if the other person loses, theycrawl under you legs and follow you around.. continue doing this until there's one logn line.. AHHHH HAHAHAHAH*
Melissa, Young, and I couldn't even get into a second workshop.. they were all full, but stupid advisors were telling us we can't wait outside and we ahve to be in a workshop, but they were kickign us out of workshops cuz they were full.. ahhh wellz. After that all of us skipped out on the 3rd and 4th workshop and Richard, Melissa, Young, Jackie, Mr L, and Mrs. Nelson walked around the Capitol. James and Derrick needed 30 minutes??? HAHAHA
IT was really nice though..AHH darn Mr. L!! He popped outta a corner and scared Jackie and me!! AHHHH LOL
Ate lunch *ewwwwwww*
THEN we headed back to the hotel to get all fixed up for the Governor's ball. YAY I felt so pretty!! thanks Melissa!! 
DANG its sooo crazy.. all the cheers and everything...dinner was good. Then another caucus.. ahhhh soo boring... but yah, Went to the governors ball afterward... SOOOO crazy fun!! HAHAH YEAH!!! OKAY!! WHAT???? hahhhhaha
It was an asian riot outside!! LOL stupid all boys school. they were jumping around, and they ran into me, and stomped on my foot, and i had to run outta there and my shoe came off.. I have a dent in my toenail now  but yah, SOO fun, foundn D15!!! WEeEEeeEe well... Ontario anyway.. lol.
WEEE MY FIRST DANCE!! it was hella fun.. hhahhah nice memories.. met an other Cambodian guy!! WEEeEEee hahahahaha.
Went back at the hotel around 12.. crazy elevator ride.ehehe. slept.

There were these two guys that just came up to jackie, me, melissa, an dyoung and were like, hey ladies.. i think their names were jason.. and some other name.. iunno.. lol but yah, we talked, but they left.. were we supposed to ask them to dance with us?? whoopsies~~ haha
THEN a while later, i was dancing with jackie, and there were these two guys that jsut jumped on in to freak us, and one of the guys bumped me with his butt so hard that he pushed me off to the side so they both started freaking on jackie.. hahahahah sooo funny.. then they were like, you guys can't handle this.. and we were thinkign, we dont wanna handle it! hahaha
An in the beginning there was this one chick that just brought up her skirt and her division number was on her underwear.. ahhh i turned away before i saw which division it was.. lol
HAHA richard and his "rejection of the chick in red" hahahah.
Fun group slow dance..hah hi lost my balance so i hopped onto davids leg and james carried me lol
Sunday: Had to pack up and get ready to leave.. Melissa and I were on our way to the convention center, but we saw ontario n the 20th floor! so we stopped by to talk. They left rightafter though. Ate breakfast and went to the last caucus... Yeah!!! our pictures were upon the screen!!! and Ontario was sleepin?? hahhahh. Then headed home.. SOO Much fun though.. hahah, came up withlots of plans for next year... AND we bumped into D10 on a rest stop.. hahha we scared them..LOL AND we saw them on the freeway so we started banging on the windows.. hahahahah. soo much fun...
Then we got home.. ^_^ SOOOO MUCH FUN!! NEXT YEARIS GO ING TO BE TIGHT!!! YEAH!! OKAY!! WHAT???? LOL

Friday 4/2/04
We left school at 7AM and I was in Mr. Lindensmith’s van with Nancy, Melissa, & Young while Richard, Derrick, & James were in Ms Nelson’s truck. The drive was around 6 hours, but it didn’t seem that bad. The Milkshake song got stuck in all of our heads! Whenever it was on the radio, we’d play it for each other on the walkie talkies =D We stopped at Carl’s Jr. for breakfast & I was STARVING ((MILKSHAKE, cheesecake, chili cheese fries)) don’t worry I’m ok I was just hungry!
We arrived at the Sheraton Hotel and it was soo freakin crowded! There were at least 3,000 students ((esp. Asians ^_^)) that attended the convention from California, Nevada, & Hawaii. It took like 20 min to use the elevator O__O Me & the s got our own, Ms. Nelson got her own & so did Mr. L on the 21st floor while the guys got theirs later on the 11th floor. It was really easy to go back & forth cuz the hotel was right next door to the Sacremento Convention Center. Me, Richard & Nancy were walking around & I saw this deli place that was called Pennis’s Deli!! haha it was funny
After we were registered, we went to the convention and it was huge!! Lots of really LOUD people with soo much spirit it was great. We got a chance to meet up with our whole Division 15, which included Ontario & Upland. Its cool to see everyone doing the cheers together, but when the awards, elections/caucus began @__@!!! BORING! I literally fell asleep in my seat -_- zzZZ!!! And it was soo LONG omg. We got back to our rooms like 11PM grrrr.. [John Crisman was there tho!!]
Saturday 4/3/04
Me & nancy slept on the bed, Young was on the couch, & Melissa got the one by the window =D We had to wake up at 6:30AM ((which means 7 my time)) we went to Dennis for breakfast. After we went straight to the 2nd day of the convention. Richard & I went to two workshop sessions. First was “To Service & Beyond.” They started showing us different stars & they turned off the lights. Me & Richard were pretty tired & just laid on the floor during the whole lecture =D. OMG John Crisman = District 4 Governor & new bulletin editor (can I also include that he is FINE!) The 2nd session was called “Will you go out with me?” which was a workshop about being good in relationships!! It was soo funnie I was in up soo hard you don’t understand! They started out with dating games. [king of ur jungle, Rocky road=nuts, I’ll take YOU to service & beyond, DISASTER DATE!! blakblakblak…] it was funnie this gurl was titled THE disaster date & I was talking about her to Richard afterwards & I didn’t realize she was infront of me >_<!!! nice one..
After we ate more, it got boring, so we ditched the other sessions & walked to the Capitol!! yaay. The building was nice & we saw Arnold Scharzeneggar!! [his work room that is] Stupid Mr. L is soo mean! He kept on pickin on me givin me funnie looks, makin weird noises, & scaring me & nancy in the alley! boo! anways we went back to the hotel & got ready for.....
THE GOVERNOR'S BALL!! [key club prom]
After dinner EVERYONE [i mean 3,000 kids] were rioting, cheering, & screaming with so much spirit, to get in the building where the dance was being held. It got pretty crazy! Everyone was yelling & screaming w/ all this key club pride. Our Division 15 rocks! We were pretty loud too it was fun. DaNg, but there was this one gay division w/ all guys that were jumpin everywhere [olay! olay!] we all got stepped on URGH!! Our division is soo tight tho OMG when we got in we started dancing! [thanks for dancing Richard & James...thanks for trying derrick?] Nancy was getting FREAKY with the guys & Young was just Pimpin it!! WhoO! Ok me & nancy were dancing w/ ea other when these 2 tall asian guys wer standing beside us, but we were like whatever, but then they bump nancy away & start FREAKIN ME..HARD front & back!! >_<!! AHH! i was like OMGOMG no no no & i stepped aside.They were all like oh you can't handle it but i was like pshh whatever [*points at face *richard does it look like I care O_O HAHA] nancy was all dancing with some other Cambodian guy (aww Bruce is Better!) & I just asked this one guy from Ontario to dance ^_^. We got back to out rooms pretty late like midnight. Even tho dancing with melissa's heals was i had a wonderful night..
Sunday 4/3/04 - Our Last Day In Sacremento (aww)
Woke up early for breakfast & went to the last session. It was pretty much a farewell assembly. They showed a video of the highlights of the convention. They also showed a slideshow that included 2 pics of us [good job richard] & ron sleeping!! funnie stuff =D After that we packed & left.
On the way home I was in Ms. Nelsons car w/ richard & derrick while the others were in the van. Driving home we stopped at a resting area & ran into Division 10 & they started yelling how much better thei division is & we're like heck no so we screamed right back at em =P
Then on the road again, derrick went to the van with the others leaving me & richard w/ ms nelson. We started racing ea other!! OMG we were making faces passing one another, yelling through the walkie talkies HAHA! YEAHH! OKAAY!! WHAAT?!! oh yea did i mention that i mooned them?! haha!!

Key Club Conventoin was a blast!
Friday:
Left at about 6:30 am... Me, Derrick, and James went with Mrs. Nelson. Like, it was pretty slow on the way, I read and listened to CD's... until we got to our first stop. We got to Carls and it was normal. It was fun. JACKIE orders chili fries, cheese cake, and a strawberry shake for breakfast. After a few more slow hours, we got to Sacramento. When we get there, we like take forever to register but finally we go to our rooms. Me, Derrick, and James's rooms weren't ready so we chilled in Mr. L's room. Me, Jackie, and Nancy were walking for a little and we went to a Deli (Pennisi's). Jackie pronounced it with out the final I and hahaha. When we got to Pennisi's, we got snackes and came out. I let Jackie have soem of my drink and like, she asked waht is it made out of, i said milk, cheese, and when she starts drinking, i say beef and she almost chokes. Me and Nancy cracked up so much. Dinner started then we went to the first general session. Boy, was it boaring! Awards for ppl we didn't know... After, we had to go to the caucus and listen to ppl who are running for office. I got lost but walked with the Ontario HS Key Club. I found the girls and sat with em. All the girls went WILD for John Crisman (sp?)... but it was sooo boaring. Freaking, it took 3 hrs cuz stupid ass ppl were asking the candidates stupid questions... say the pledge backwards, make up a song, yada yada yada STUPID QUESTION!!! I called Vicky tho and she made it worthwile. Afterwards, i went up to Mr. L's room because I didn't have my key and James and Derrick and Mr L went to register for delegates. I sleep in the bed with James and the nite is over...
Saturday:
We wake up, and we all go to Denny's... afterwards, we went to the convention center and went to the delegates connfrence again. more more more boaringness... We then were to seperate and go to diffrent workshops. First, me and Jackie went to a star's workshop. Everyone was loud and shit and they didnt do crap due to the fact everyone was rude. Everyone's favorite person Jon Chrisman was there. They then played guesse that star... one guy was austin powers, another Micheal Jackson, another William Hung, and the last was Lil' John (What?! OKAY!)... after that, me and Jackie went to the "will you go out with me work shop" which gave dating tips ect... (hahaha i'll take YOU to service and beyond). Later, we all went to the hotel. The girls wanted to go to the capital building but James wanted to chill for 30 and derrick wanted to poop. So i left the guy's room and went with Mr L, Ms Nelson, Young, Nancy, Melissa, and Jackie to the capital building. It was fun. Too bad i didnt have my camera... after, we went to the hotel to get ready for dinner and the Governor's ball... dinner went by well then we waited outside the memorial building for hte ball... there was so much cheering and such it was fun! Then I got a picture with Division 15 (just RCHS and Ontario tho)... we start out at the dance but me and derrick left for a walk around the city. we went to the convention center and just like had conversation... when we got there, we found the group and danced... (Young and that korean boy!!) I danced with Melissa a lil then went to sit down. We found D15 and like danced with them. apperantly, this girl in a red dress (who everyone said was hot but i didnt think so) was dancing with me but i didnt see... i was like that sucks, i was pretty rude... then me and jackie danced for the rest of the nite and ya. after, we went to the hotel room and it was and chilled.
Sunday
i slept pretty early and then woke up early for breakfast. it was a short day, breakfast then session, we left at 10. we hit the road at aboutt 11 and went starit. me, jackie, and derrick went in ms nelson's truck and the rest went wiht mr L. We stopped at one place which had SHITTY chinese food... we stopped again later and got in-n-out and mcdonalds... wow 1$ small cheese buirgers, i was stupid. derrick went with mr L and me and jackie were left with ms nelson. me and ms nelson had a good convo and jackie listened to hyori. we stopped again but this time, after we raced mr L... we had the lead so much. Jackie freakin mooned em and shit. we almost won but we lost by so little. We said our good byes and departed and here I am...
Overall, Sacramento was a great expereince. I want to visit it once again one day. I missed vicky like crazy... Time to go, have a fun spring break. later. | | |
